Locomotion
This was a class project for Professor Andrew Chien’s Mobile Computing class at the University of Chicago. We created an inexpensive, sensor-based input mechanism for the Samsung GearVR headset to combat motion-sickness. Sensors were strapped to the user’s feet and networked to the headset such that walking-in-place simulated natural movement in virtual space.
