Mirror Forms

 Mirror Forms

This project was for the Data + Algorithms in Art class taught by Professor Jason Salavon at the University of Chicago. Facial recognition software was used to map viewers’ faces based on facial landmarks. I translated these landmarks into pseudo-random line networks programmatically to abstract facial features. We digitally fabricated the facial networks using a laser cutter and mounted them to be unrecognizable to the audience.
